« Opening Ceremony at the fairgrounds
o Presentation of Flags
o Recognition of Veterans
o Re-enactment of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence
« Living History Fair (in the Trade Center following the Opening Ceremony)
o Step back in time at our Living History Fair. Immerse yourself in the history of Central Montana from 1776 to the present. Discover the lives, stories and skills of trappers, miners, mountain men, pioneers, homesteaders, farmers, ranchers, soldiers, airmen, and entrepreneurs.
Family Fun & Food All Afternoon & Evening
« Be captivated by the vibrant performances of Native American Dancers. Gather around as elders share storytelling in Cree and Chippewa languages. Step inside authentic teepees for engaging teachings about their significance and history.
« Enjoy live music in the gazebo while your children participate in traditional games.
« Food trucks will be serving up a delicious variety of treats and eats all afternoon and evening!
« Bring your lawn chairs and relax with outdoor movies in the gazebo area starting at 6:00 PM.
End the Day with a Bang!
« A spectacular fireworks show will begin at dusk, visible from nearly anywhere in Lewistown.
